"Where movement and creativity team up to help kids build transferable life skills."
A different kind of support
Inner Peace Rising was built for young people who need more than another worksheet, another waiting room, or another system that treats them like a diagnosis.
Through movement, creativity, challenge, and real relationship, kids build confidence, manage stress, strengthen focus — and discover what they're actually capable of.
This is support that meets them in motion, and helps families move forward with real hope.
Why families find us
Traditional therapy is right for many kids. But for kids who shut down in office settings, who learn through doing, who need movement to feel safe — there's a better entry point.
Sitting still in an office doesn't work for every kid. Movement creates a natural, pressure-free way to build trust and work through challenges — without it feeling like therapy.
Traditional therapy often feels like a chore. Movement teaches patience, goal-setting, and persistence in ways that actually hold a kid's attention — because it's real.
Not every kid connects with talk therapy. Hands-on, movement-based approaches help kids engage, process emotions, and build coping skills that actually last.
Skateboarding, hiking, and outdoor movement give kids structured but low-pressure chances to connect, build confidence, and work through fear at their own pace.
Every push, every climb, every small win stacks up. Kids start proving to themselves — in real time — that they can do hard things. Confidence is built, not given.
Not another screen. Not another couch. Fresh air, physical challenge, creative expression — a place where stress actually goes somewhere productive.

FAQ
Starting something new can feel like a lot. These answers are here to make the first step easier.
Still have questions?Inner Peace Rising serves preteens and teens (ages 9–18) and the families who support them — especially young people who haven't connected well with traditional therapy, or who need a more active, engaging path to growth.
Not at all. Beginners are welcome and most kids start with zero experience. The focus isn't performance — it's growth, resilience, and confidence. The board (or trail, or brush) is just the vehicle.
Depending on fit and goals, sessions may include skateboarding, trail hiking, mountain biking, outdoor movement, creative arts expression, and supportive conversation in real-world settings — never in a sterile office.
That's exactly why many families come here. This approach is built specifically for young people who need something more active, relational, and natural-feeling. If the couch and clipboard haven't worked, this might be the right next step.
